The Capital Indoor Stadium is an indoor arena in BeijingChina that was built in 1968. It is a multi-purpose arena for hosting national and international sport events, large-scale gathering and performance.

Capital Indoor Stadium underwent a renovation and expansion and was completed in late 2007 for the 2008 Summer Olympics, where it hosted volleyball events.

It has a seating capacity of 17,345 and a floor space of 54,707 square meters.

Elder Audio won the bid for the sound reinforcement system project for the stadium in 2007.A project group was established in Elder Audio for better serving the project. The group faced many challenge on this project due to the restrictions of load bearing capacity of the venue. So the newest coaxial speakers, Beta Three S series which is compact high SPL and great sound quality was chosen for this venue. The S1200 were array using special bracketry rigged to the ceiling. Totally 14 clusters were used in this venue. Power comes from Beta Three UA amplifiers.

In Oct 2007, the whole sound reinforcement systems passed all the acceptance criteria by the International Olympic Committee.
